Baggage
All bags are subject to inspection. We will not accept checked or carry-on bags we think are unsuitable for transportation for reasons like size, weight or character.
Before you go to the airport, be sure to check our baggage guidelines below for information on all our checked and carry-on baggage policies.
Checked Baggage
For your convenience, each passenger is allowed, free of charge, one complimentary piece of checked baggage 20kg (except LIGHT brand) and a carry-on baggage plus personal items.
The number of bags you can check depends on your destination. Checked bag fees apply may apply. All bag fees are non-refundable and apply per person, each way. Additional fees may apply for overweight / oversize bags or specialty items.
Also, you may have to pay bag fees if:
- You are checking oversize and overweight baggage
- You are checking specialty and sports equipment
- Additional checked baggage
Use caution when packing
Some everyday products, like electronic cigarettes and aerosol spray starch, can be dangerous when transported on the aircraft in carry-on and/or checked baggage. Changes in temperature or pressure can cause some items to leak, generate toxic fumes or start a fire. Carriage of prohibited items may result in fines or in certain cases imprisonment. Please ensure there are no forbidden hazardous materials in your baggage like:

If you have lost an item while travelling with us please contact Lost & Found.
Baggage claim policies and experience vary by airport. When you arrive in the international airport, you will claim your checked bags before going through Customs.
Carry-On Baggage
In general, you’re allowed 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item:
- Carry-on items may not exceed dimensions of 23x40x55 cm
- Your bag must fit in the overhead compartment.
- Your personal item must fit under the seat in front of you.
- All bags must be stowed before takeoff.
Items unable to fit underneath seats or in the overhead compartment will be collected prior to boarding and be available for pickup plane side upon arrival.
In addition to a carry-on bag, passengers may bring one (1) personal item such as a purse, laptop, reading material, umbrella, and backpack or camera case. Diaper bags, child safety seats, strollers and medical or mobility devices don’t count as your bag or personal item.
If you need to check your carry-on bags, be sure to take any fragile or valuable items like your keys, medication or computers with you on board. Also remove and carry on any e-cigarettes and spare batteries for laptops, cameras or other mobile devices.
